The Brocklesby Hounds are the oldest private pack of Foxhounds in the country and are the only pack of purebred English Foxhounds. The Hunt dates from about 1700 and hound records of breeding are complete from 1746.
The country extends from the Humber river to roughly a line from Louth to Market Rasen and across to Scunthorpe. It adjoins the South Wold Hunt and the Burton Area. The country is mainly arable land, with large woodlands in the area of Brocklesby. The field consists of people from all walks of life.
